Lisa Lavoie earned her Bachlor's degree from the Kansas City Art Institute. After graduation, she moved to New York City to start her career as an illustrator. Her work can be seen in various publications such as The New York Times and Women's Day. Her recent projects include greeting cards and children's books.
Lisa is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Graphic Artists Guild and Children's Book Illustrator Group. You may find her drawing squirrels in a park or painting in her studio.
